This course is a graduation requirement within the province. Students seem to be able to make a connection once the Great War and World War II are covered. Many students begin to realize that Canada's past has been greatly influenced by historical events in Europe. The expanse of the Atlantic Ocean simply did not dissolve the deep rooted links between the two continents.
